Finally available to the public is the CAO Amazon Basin Extra Anejo which is another success for the CAO brand. A 6” x 52 Toro cigar which probably is the best size for any cigar to be honest. The CAO Amazon Basin Extra Anejo is wrapped with Ecuadorian Sumatra tobacco, which is often regarded as among the best type of tobacco wrappers in the world. Long fillers from Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Bragança tobacco which makes this cigar outstanding. The unique flavor of the Bragança tobacco is what sets this cigar apart. Bragança tobacco is a native to the Amazon basin. Only once every three years is the tobacco collected, and after being rolled into tubes, it is aged for another six months. Moving the tobacco out of the Amazon requires the use of canoes and the assistance of locals. One of the best cigars ever made; it deserves a spot in everyone’s “best of” list.
