Kicking things off is a toothy Dominican natural wrapper to encapsulate the perfect blend of Dominican long fillers and binder. But the magic is in the aging process, each and every tobacco leaf used in the Cohiba Puro Dominicana is aged for at least 3 years in charcoaled wooden barrels, and after the 3 years the cigars are hand rolled by the best at Cohiba and aged again for an additional year. The additional year of aging after being rolled gives the filler and binder ample time to properly merge all their unique flavors together, thus creating a powerful full-bodied, full flavored, yet smooth smoking experience. Tasting notes of this ultra-premium consist of hearty wood, pepper, and roasted nuts.
