The outside is encased in a shiny, oily, leathery Cuban-seed wrapper. This fragrant leaf is grown in the misty valleys of Ecuador, and beneath its surface is a strong blend of old Cuban-seed long-fillers from Nicaragua’s black, volcanic soils. The combination of these tobaccos results in a robust smoke with complex notes of toasted sweetness. There are hints of cedar, leather, and white pepper in the background of the bouquet’s silky smoothness. La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial is a pleasing cigar with a body ranging from medium to full.
