The Alma del Fuego is a monument to Ometepe by the Plasencia family. Every Ometepe tobacco used in the double binder and half of the filler mix is matured for seven years to fully exploit the volcanic soils. Tobacco farmed on Plasencia’s fields for over five generations, including the wrapper and residual fillers. Earth, leather, and espresso dominate the tastes, with a peppery aftertaste. Alma del Fuego means Soul of Fire in Spanish. Born of the sun and volcanoes, it awaits your lighter’s flame to burn it to your finger tips.
